1 Betting rules

1.1Definitions and general rules

Solo betrepresents the selection of a single event. The winning condition for this type of bet is to indicate the correct prediction of the outcome.

Single bet (no combinations)involves selecting multiple events. In this case, the final odds are determined by multiplying the individual odds of each event. The winning condition of this type of bet is the correct indication of the prediction for each individual event, the winning amount being determined by multiplying the final odds by the stake played.

System betinvolves selecting from the offer several events for which a certain minimum condition is chosen in indicating the correct predictions. The number of variants is determined mathematically according to the formula of combinations of 'n' taken by 'k'.

Maximum gain- MaxBet.ro grants a maximum win for tickets containing bets that will not exceed the amount of 200,000 LEI, regardless of the type of bet. The maximum win for tickets containing fixed odds bets will not exceed, including through bonuses granted on the ticket, the amount of 200,000 Lei per game ticket, for any product made available by MaxBet.ro (regardless of whether multiplying the odds by the stake results in a higher win). Duplicate tickets, namely betting tickets that contain strictly the same events and predictions, are allowed by MaxBet.ro, but if the cumulative win of all duplicate tickets at MaxBet.ro is higher than the maximum win, then MaxBet.ro reserves the right to limit the win to a maximum of 200,000 Lei regardless of the number of duplicate tickets. The maximum win for a ticket is 200,000 Lei (three hundred thousand lei), regardless of whether multiplying the odds by the stake results in a higher win.

Minimum stakeaccepted for a single ticket, is 2 Lei for fixed odds bets and Live bets and 1 Leu for number bets. In the case of system bets, the minimum stake is 0.01 Lei per combination.

MaxBet.ro reserves the right to establish, complete and change the odds, competitions and betting possibilities, to modify the minimum stake and maximum win, the minimum and maximum number of events on a ticket depending on the type of ticket. The Organizer also reserves the right, without the need for justification, not to accept tickets from certain players, to request a change in the stake, not to accept duplicate tickets, etc.

MaxBet.ro does not allow bets on events where the customer is directly involved. This category includes players, referees, coaches, jury members, etc. If it is suspected that a customer has bet on an event where he is also involved, MaxBet.ro reserves the right to cancel these bets.

Persons under the age of 18, employees, partners, significant shareholders, members of the Organizer's management team and control body are not allowed to participate in betting and register on the online platform.

Betting offerrepresents the totality of events that the ORGANIZER makes available to PLAYERS and on whose result(s) one can bet. The betting offer may include the following data: the event code, the competitors (as a general rule, the home team (team 1) is listed to the left of the away team (team 2), even if the event takes place on a neutral field), the odds established for the possible outcomes of the event, any other data of interest (betting conditions / restrictions / event being played on a neutral field, etc.), the day and start time of the event.
Note: The information regarding the start time of the events, inserted in the OFFER, is for guidance only.

Special Bets– for special type bets on sports for the stage/day of certain Leagues/Competitions:

  • the mentioned game events (goals, corners, cards, etc.), the indicated team groups (team 1/home, team 2/away, etc.) and the defined sports event group (stage/day of the League/Competition, etc.) are cumulatively taken into account. The organizer may also offer these bets for a specific group of matches from one or more competitions.

  • the approval of the results will be made taking into account the regular playing time and the extra minutes granted by the officials for normal interruptions during the game (unless otherwise stated in the betting offer)

  • Corner kicks awarded but not taken are not taken into account

  • in the case of betting on cards, those received by non-players (players who have been substituted, coaches, players on the bench) are not taken into account. Also, for bets where the color of the card is not specified, a yellow card is considered 1 card and a red card 2 cards. A player's second yellow card is not taken into account. Consequently, a player cannot have more than 3 cards. Validation is made according to all evidence of cards shown during the regular 90 minutes. Cards shown after regular time are not taken into account.

  • for approval, the results on the playing field are taken into account, without taking into account subsequent changes to the results by the competent bodies.

  • If at least one event is postponed/interrupted and is not played/continued within 48 hours of the original start time, all bets will be settled at odds of 1.00 (regardless of the status of other bets). However, if the match is played/continued, settlement will be based on the results recorded at the end of the match.

For this type of bet, the day is defined as the time interval 07:00 AM – 06:59 AM the next day. For example, for the “Special Day – Total Corners – Spain November 10th” all matches that start between 07:00 AM on November 10th and 06:59 AM on November 11th will be considered.

Antepost bets (long-term bets):

  • can be received before the start of a competition, but also during it. Without being limited to these, the Organizer may offer the following types of long-term bets, with reference to: winning teams, players, relegation, qualification, statistics, top scorers, position in the standings, pole-position winner, totals (points, goals, cards, offsides, fouls, corners, etc.), differences/handicappings (points, position, goals, etc.), etc.

  • in the case of antepost bets of the “winner” type (the team wins the championship title) the playoffs are also taken into account

  • in the case of antepost bets of the “relegation” type (the team will be relegated to a lower league) the playout/bargain is also taken into account

  • in the case of antepost bets of the "goal scorer" type (the player who will score the most goals) the goals scored in the playoffs / playout are also taken into account

  • for validation, the official ranking available after the end of the last match in the respective competition will be taken into account. This will also include any penalty points awarded before the end of the competition. Any penalty or decision made after the end of the competition, which is likely to affect any situation established on the basis of previous results, will not be taken into account

If a league is interrupted and ended before all matches have been played:

  • for the validation of bets regarding the champion/winning team of the competition, position in the standings, top scorer, best player, etc., the decision of each individual federation will be taken into account;

  • if no hierarchy is established, no team is relegated, no team is declared champion or no player can be considered a top scorer, bets referring to such a category will be void (they receive odds of 1.00);

  • In the case of bets on total points, goals, cards, corners, etc. and in general on bets that involve quantifiable values, odds of 1.00 will be awarded, except in situations where at the time of interruption the bets are already decided or the further course of the competition could no longer affect their outcome.

For situations not covered by the regulations, if during the course of a competition there are changes in its structure (e.g. reduction in the number of teams that are relegated) likely to affect the determination of the result for some events in the offer, the Organizer will be entitled to establish the method of validating them, fairly, according to internal decisions, or to cancel the bets by granting the odds of 1.00.

Betting on non-sporting eventsrefers to any type of general interest bet that is not of a sporting nature (political, cultural, social, economic event, etc.).

MaxBet.ro will take into account the results recorded at the event venue.

Any subsequent investigations carried out by the competent authorities will only be taken into account for the settlement of the bet if they are carried out on the same day as the completion of the event. Any investigation carried out on the following day(s) will not be taken into account, regardless of its basis or outcome.

If an event is postponed, it will wait until it takes place.

If an event is cancelled, odds of 1.00 will be awarded.

In the event of a tie in an event (e.g. two winners) the bet will be split accordingly.

resultswill be validated in accordance with the data displayed by the official websites of the competitions in question (such as, but not limited to: Champions League, Europe League, European Championship, World Championship, League 1, League 2, Romanian Cup, domestic championships and cups of other countries, etc.). In order to verify the correctness of the data displayed by the official websites of the competitions, MaxBet.ro will also refer to the data displayed by subsidiary sources such as: the websites of the teams participating in the respective competitions, but also the most notorious streaming sources, TV broadcasts, sports data providers, sports statistics websites, sports news portals, etc. such as, but not limited to: Sofascore, Futbol24, FlashScore, Xscores. The main source of validation of the results is always the official website of the competitions, except in the following cases:

  • the betting offer expressly mentions a different source of validation, in which case the official results will be validated according to this source;
  • the results displayed by the official competition websites are contradictory to the results displayed by all subsidiary sources, in which case the results displayed by the subsidiary sources will be taken into account.

In the event of the approval of erroneous results, the Organizer has the right to re-approve the results and recalculate the tickets containing re-approved results.

REPEAT EVENT- If for any reason, the same event is repeated, the first result is valid.

REGULATION TIME- In general, for all sports disciplines, the final result is considered to be the one recorded at the end of the regular playing time (Ex: football = 90 minutes, hockey = 60 minutes), including the extra minutes granted by the officials for normal interruptions during the game, unless otherwise specified. If the official associations or federations decide to stipulate, in advance, that a certain event will take place with a different duration, then this will be considered the official duration of the event (for example, in Under 17 football two halves of 40 minutes each are played)

Start timesof the events are taken from official websites of the competitions and from specialized third-party providers. An event is considered to have started when it actually starts and not when the starting time according to the sports calendar has been reached (e.g.: the first serve of the match, the first starting whistle of the referee at a football match).

If bet types were offered when the outcome was already known, we reserve the right to give odds of 1.00 to any bet.

QUALIFICATION- In the case of bets such as "Who advances", "Who wins the cup?", etc. and in general long-term bets, the 48-hour rule does not apply until the round-robin matches are completed, all stages are played, etc.

DUEL- It represents the type of bet between two leagues, teams (or groups of teams) or scorers, this duel being considered a virtual match. For example, we have two specified football teams and we have a duel between them: it is the type of bet in which it is necessary to indicate which of the two teams will score more goals in the matches in the respective stage. If the base matches are Roma - Inter and Barcelona - Betis and the duel (the virtual match chosen as a duel) is Roma - Barcelona, then the goals scored by the two teams in the matches in the respective stage will be compared: if Roma scores more goals, the winning type is “1”, if Barcelona scores more goals, the winning type is “2” and if the number of goals is equal, the winning type is “X”. Similarly for: - duels goals scorers: the winner will be the player who scores more goals (own goals are not taken into account) - duels goals league: the winner will be the league in whose stage/championship more goals are scored. It should be noted that:

  • if a match of the team chosen in the duel is not played, this duel will also be validated with odds of 1.00

  • if a player does not take part in that match it is also validated with odds of 1.00

  • This duel cannot be combined on the ticket with any of the matches from which these teams were chosen for the duel.

MATCH FORMAT- In the case of special match formats (e.g. 3 halves of 30 minutes), the first half will be considered the interval from the start of the match to minute 44:59 and the second half the interval from 45:00 to the end of the match (plus the extra minutes indicated by the referee). We also reserve the right to validate matches that are played outside the normal formats (2x40, 2X45) with odds of 1.00.

Bet Builder:

- offers the possibility of combining multiple betting options from the same match

- the organizer reserves the right to determine and modify, at its own discretion, the events and betting options for which the Bet Builder function will be available as well as the maximum number of selections from which a Bet Builder bet can be made.

- the organizer does not guarantee that the Bet Builder function will be available on certain betting options, certain events or certain customers and also assumes no liability if the Bet Builder function is not available.

- the organizer reserves the right to accept or refuse any bet included in the Bet Builder function, regardless of the competition or betting option

- the organizer reserves the right to validate with ODDS 1 or to revise the odds of a bet created through Bet Builder, if there are obvious errors for any of the selections that make up the bet

- the organizer reserves the right to remove the Bet Builder function for any customer or group of customers where there are reasonable grounds that the customer or group of customers is using it in bad faith.

- all betting options that make up a Bet Builder bet are subject to the general terms and conditions, the general validation rules and ODDS 1 and/or the special validation rules and ODDS 1 specific to the sports to which the events belong.

Cash Out function

- Cash Out is a functionality that allows, where available, the possibility of closing a bet at a certain value, which is displayed before the outcome of the bet in question is finally determined.

- please note that the Cash Out feature is only available for certain events and bets (as will be displayed on the Website from time to time) and only if all bets on the selections entered are on eligible markets.

- if you select to accept a cash-out offer, please note that between the time of selecting this offer and the establishment of all the parameters of the offer there may be a time delay, price changes or a market suspension which may result in a new cash-out offer, these changes being generally generated by odds fluctuations.

- the Cash Out functionality takes into account the following main factors: the initial odds at which the bet was placed and the status of the bet at the relevant time.

- once the bet has been successfully closed via Cash Out, the bet will be considered completed.

- any Cash Out offer also relates to the stake, and once the Cash Out offer has been accepted, it is final.

- bets placed that qualify for or contribute to any other offer are not eligible for Cash Out and will not be available for Cash Out.

- Bets placed through the Cash Out function will not be considered for bonus rollover.

- bets that have been placed as "free bets", "tokens" or any other similar bonus cannot be closed via Cash Out.

- Maxbet reserves the right to modify, suspend or revoke the availability of the Cash Out feature at any time, on any market, bet type or to any customer.

- in the event of an error affecting the Cash Out function, it will be resolved in accordance with these terms and conditions.

- in the event of an error in our odds setting, the bet containing the affected selection cannot be closed by Cash Out. If the bet affected by the errors was closed by Cash Out or was accepted in error, then the Cash Out transaction will be voided and the original bet will also be voided.

- if an error occurs whereby the amount collected through Cash Out is incorrect, then the Cash Out transaction will be cancelled and the original bet will be settled based on the final result with the original odds applied to the bet.

- if further attempts are made to place bets and use the Cash Out function on markets that are affected by an error, before the error is corrected, then the bet(s) closed via Cash Out and stakes will be void.

- the Cash out option is only available during certain time intervals of the events and any change in betting options during the event may lead to the suspension/deactivation of this option.

- the organizer reserves the right, at its own discretion, to limit or disable the Cash out function at any time, regardless of the type of bet (pre-match, live, single, simple, system). In the event of this happening, any bet will remain as originally placed.

- The organizer does not guarantee that the Cash out function will be available on certain betting options or to all customers.

1.2 Live

If the result of a bet/event cannot be officially verified, we reserve the right to delay its validation until official information is available.

In case of display errors of the data entered into the system, the ORGANIZER reserves the right to consider bets as void or to validate them using the correct odds even if the errors are discovered after the end of the event. This also includes a deviation of more than 100% of the payout compared to the market average.

If for various reasons the video broadcast of the event is interrupted, but it is proceeding normally, bets will be validated normally. If the result of an event cannot be officially verified, we reserve the right to validate the event with odds of 1.00.

In the event of incorrect validation of a bet/event, we reserve the right to correct the error at any time, even after the event has been completed.

If an event is cancelled, postponed, suspended or interrupted before the end of regular playing time and is not continued within 48 hours, the bet for this event and derivatives that have not already been determined are void and odds of 1.00 are awarded.

Unless otherwise stated in the specific sport regulations, if, for any listed match, the venue for that match is changed to the away team's original ground, bets placed on the original listing will be declared void. If the venue is changed to a location other than the away team's ground, bets stand as long as the home team is still designated as the home team. This rule does not apply to events played on neutral ground, matches or tournaments with a fixed venue.

In the event that, due to technical difficulties, it is impossible to display the full names of the competitors (e.g. names of competitors in tennis matches, names of clubs, etc.), the names of the competitors may be abbreviated. Errors such as misprinting the name of the competition or competitors (e.g.: Barcelona - Barcelona) - if they do not affect the essence of the bets - will not be taken into account. If the error is such that it affects the understanding of the bets, the respective bets will be voided and the odds awarded will be 1.00 (e.g.: instead of Real Madrid it is written Real Mallorca, etc.).

If a club's reserve or youth team plays instead of the main team, that event will be canceled, for all events in the offer.

We reserve the right to suspend the odds of an event in the event of technical problems or if an attempt at fraud is detected.

We reserve the right to void certain bets if they were won by taking advantage of a technical error in the system (without being limited to this reason).

Unless otherwise stated, a score of 0:0 is considered even.

Win the rest of the match – The result of the time interval from the moment the bet is placed until the end of regular playing time is indicated (at the moment the bet is placed, the score recorded up to that point is no longer taken into account).

Win the rest of the half “X” - The result of the time interval from the moment the bet is placed until the end of the half “X” is indicated (at the moment the bet is placed, the score recorded up to that point is no longer taken into account).

Win the rest of the “X” quarter - The result of the time interval from the moment the bet is placed until the end of the “X” quarter is indicated (at the moment the bet is placed, the score recorded up to that point is no longer taken into account).

1.3 Pre-match

Unless otherwise stated in the specific sport regulations, if, for any listed match, the venue for that match is changed to the away team's original ground, bets placed on the original listing will be declared void. If the venue is changed to a location other than the away team's ground, bets stand as long as the home team is still designated as the home team. This rule does not apply to events played on neutral grounds, matches or tournaments with a fixed venue.

In the event that, due to technical difficulties, it is impossible to display the full names of the competitors (e.g. names of competitors in tennis matches, names of clubs, etc.), the names of the competitors may be abbreviated. Errors such as printing the name of the competition or competitors incorrectly (e.g.: Barcelona - Barcelona), if they do not affect the essence of the bets, will not be taken into account. If the error is such that it affects the understanding of the bets, the respective bets will be canceled and the odds awarded will be 1.00 (e.g.: instead of Real Madrid it is written Real Mallorca, etc.).

If a club's reserve or youth team plays instead of its main team, that event will be canceled, for all events in the offer.

In the case of matches that are not played under the standard conditions of the rules specific to the respective sport, bets will be void unless otherwise specified in the betting offer.

Unless otherwise specified in the offer, the bets offered refer to the regular playing time of the respective sport.

The odds in the betting offer may change over time and events may also be suspended from the betting offer and reopened later or even blocked before the start time.

In case of display errors of the data entered into the system, the Organizer reserves the right to consider bets as void or to validate them using the correct odds even if the errors are discovered after the end of the event. This also includes a deviation of more than 100% of the payout compared to the market average.

We reserve the right to suspend the odds of an event in the event of technical problems or if an attempt at fraud is detected.

We reserve the right to void certain bets if they were won by taking advantage of a technical error in the system (without being limited to this reason).

If an event is cancelled, postponed, suspended or interrupted before the end of regular playing time and is not continued within 48 hours, the bet for this event and derivatives that have not already been determined is void and odds of 1.00 are awarded.

If a bet type only refers to the victory of one of the teams and ends with a draw, then the bet is validated with odds of 1.00.

In the case of bets of the type "First team to X goals/points", if the match is completed before that limit, it will be validated with odds of 1.00.

Unless otherwise stated, a score of 0:0 is considered even.

If the result of a bet/event cannot be officially verified, we have the right to postpone its validation until information is available. If, however, the result cannot be officially verified, it can be validated at odds of 1.00.

If an event is played before the scheduled start date and time, then all bets placed after the start time will be considered void.

In the event of incorrect validation of a bet/event, we reserve the right to correct the error.

The following rules apply to “Duel” bets (unless otherwise specified in the betting offer):

  • at least one of the competitors must finish the match, otherwise it is validated with odds of 1.00

  • if one of the competitors does not take part in the event then it is validated with odds of 1.00

  • if competitors are disqualified, it is validated with odds of 1.00

  • if the competitors obtain the same result and the tie option is not offered then it is validated with odds of 1

The organizer will consider "winner" bets in which the player chooses multiple betting events that cancel each other out as losers.

If the event is cancelled then bets are validated with odds of 1.00.

If the venue of an event changes, we reserve the right to validate bets with odds of 1.00.

For the approval of the event, the final result established by the first official announcements is taken into account. No changes or subsequent decisions, individual or by any committee, are taken into account.

When multiple participants finish in a dead-heat, the player's stake will be divided by the number of participants involved in the tie. The player will be paid at full odds for this reduced stake. The remaining money in the player's stake will be lost.

If a player does not participate in the event, all bets in which he is included will be validated with odds of 1.00.

1.4E-Sports

If the final length/duration of the game is equal to a certain threshold (selection limits), it is resolved as FINISHED.

eSports Definitions:

  • Selection: an option that can be bet on. There are usually 2 or more selections/market.

  • Title: PC/console/mobile game developed by a publisher with an active Esports ecosystem; for the purposes of this specification, this primarily means League of Legends, DOTA2, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Rush Soccer/Rush Football (FIFA 2023), Rush Basketball (NBA 2k23), and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - Head 2 Head Global Gaming League (H2HGGL).

  • Map: a specific Esports game within an Esports competition.

  • Match: multiple maps, where the first team to win 1 (Bo1 / Best of 1), 2 (Bo3 / Best of 3) or 3 (Bo3 / Best of 5) map(s) wins. Bo2 (Best of 2) can be played to a 1:1 draw or can be won by one team 2:0.

Unless otherwise stated, each market has only one winning selection.

Unless otherwise specified, results are announced by the official organizer, usually via streaming and/or on the internet.

Two basic market types:

  • Markets offered at all times: Markets are available for pre-match and live betting, meaning bets are accepted both before the map starts and during it. Bets are settled after the match has finished or after a specific in-game event occurs.

  • Markets offered temporarily: Markets are available for pre-match betting, where bets are only accepted before the actual start of the map or before a specific in-game event. The result is validated after the map is completed or after a specific in-game event occurs.

All markets are validated on events occurring during the game or on the results at the end of a scheduled Match/Map. Competition results are those found on the official communication channels of the competition organizer.

All Match dates and start times displayed are for informational purposes only and are not guaranteed to be accurate.

If a Match is suspended/postponed and is not rescheduled to a later time within 48 hours of the scheduled start time, then all bets on that Match will be void.

If a player/team/tournament name is misspelled, all bets will stand unless it is obvious that the misspelled name is the same as that of a different entity.

If a team name is changed due to a team leaving the organization, joining another organization, or due to an official team name change, all bets will stand.

If the event organizer allows stand-ins and there is an official result, all bets will be settled as normal.

If the result of a Match is cancelled by the organiser due to unforeseen circumstances - such as cheating - all bets on that Match will be void. This rule applies within 72 hours of the end of the Match, after which we do not change the outcome of the tickets.

If a Match has been declared a winner by the tournament organizer without the Match being played (walkover), all bets will be void.

In the event that a team withdraws during a Match, only completed bets will be validated. Bets not settled at the time of withdrawal will be void. Bets placed on subsequent Maps that will be completed will stand once the official results are declared. However, all live offers will be suspended on this Match and will be moved to a new Match with a different Match ID that will truly reflect the status of the Match. The only exception to this rule would be in this very situation: Team A wins Map 1 and proceeds to abandon Map 2. In this case, we will void all bets on all markets on the Undecided Match and Map 2 and continue our offer on Map 3 of the Match.

Extensions are taken into account in the validation of markets, unless otherwise specified in the offer in the market name.

If the format of the Match is changed or differs from that stated in the offer, we reserve the right to void all bets.

If the Match is listed incorrectly, we reserve the right to void all bets.

In the event that a Match is played before the scheduled start date/time, all bets placed after the actual start of the Match will be refunded. All bets placed before the actual start of the Match will stand.

In the event that a Match or Map is replayed due to organizer or technical issues, all affected markets will be void, while the replayed Matches or Maps will be treated separately as a new Match.

If a game on a Map starts with fewer than ten players, all bets on that Map will be void.

2 Football

2.1In Play

All bets (except bets on half-time, first half, overtime, penalties) refer to regular time, unless specifically stated otherwise in the betting offer.

Events are validated according to the regular playing time of a football match (unless otherwise specified in the offer) including overtime dictated by the referee caused by injuries/interruptions during the game, but does not include extra time or penalty kicks.

If the bet remains open after the following events have occurred: goals, red or yellow-red cards, penalties, or in situations where a video assistant referee (VAR) decision results in one of the above-mentioned events being awarded, we reserve the right to void the bet.

If the bet was opened with a missing or incorrect card, we reserve the right to void the bet.

If the odds were offered with an incorrect match time (more than 5 minutes), we reserve the right to void the bet.

If an incorrect score is entered, all bets will be void for the time period in which the incorrect score was displayed.

If the team/player names or categories are displayed incorrectly, we reserve the right to award odds of 1.00 to the bet.

In the event of any changes caused by the video assistant referee (VAR), which affect the score or cards/corners/penalties, from the moment the event in question took place until the moment the decision is made by the officials, we reserve the right to award odds of 1.00 to the bet.

In the case of betting on cards (only for bets where the card colour is not specified), a yellow card counts as 1 card and a red card counts as 2. A player's second yellow card does not count. Consequently, a player cannot have more than 3 cards. Settlement is based on all evidence of cards shown during the regular 90 minutes. Cards shown after regular time do not count.

Cards received by non-players (players who have been substituted, coaches, players on the bench) are not taken into account.

Corner kicks awarded but not taken are not taken into account.

Own goals are not taken into account in the case of "any time goalscorer" or "player to score" bets.

All players who start the match or enter during the match are considered participants in the game.

If a goalscorer is not in the offer and scores all bets on goalscorers remain valid.

Validations are generally made based on TV images or available official sources (they are only taken into account in the case of obviously incorrect statistics)

Bets are settled based on the time announced on TV. If this is not available, the minute according to the official game time (clock) is used.

Bets are settled according to the minute the ball crosses the goal line and not the minute the ball was kicked.

Corner interval bets are settled based on the time the corner kick is played and not the time it was taken or awarded.

Bets on card intervals are settled based on the time the card is shown and not the time the rule violation occurred.

Bets on offside intervals are settled based on the time the referee makes the decision. This rule will apply in any situation involving the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).

Penalty shootout bets are settled based on the time the referee makes the decision. This rule will apply in any situation involving the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).

Penalties awarded but not taken are not taken into account.

In case of betting on cards without specifying the card colour, a yellow card counts as 1 card and a red or yellow-red card counts as 2. A second yellow card for a player leading to a yellow-red card does not count. Consequently, a player cannot receive more than 3 cards.

For betting on card points, a yellow card counts as 10 points and a red or yellow-red card counts as 25 points. A second yellow card for a player that results in a yellow-red card does not count. As a result, a player cannot accumulate more than 35 penalty points.

For bets on 5 min. / 15 min. intervals, events (goals, corners) in the extra minutes awarded by the referee that are related to the intervals 41-45 and 31-45 of the specified half will also be taken into account.

For goal scoring method X:

  • Free Kick: The goal must be scored directly from a free kick or corner kick to count. Deflected kicks count if the goal is awarded to the Participant who took the free kick or corner kick.

  • Penalty: The goal must be scored directly from a penalty kick. Goals scored after a clearance or a missed shot do not count.

  • Own goal: if the goal was declared an own goal.

  • Heading: the last touch of the ball by the scorer must be with the head.

  • Shot: the goal must be scored with any part of the body other than the head, and other types are not considered.

  • No goals scored.

2.2Pre-match

The intervals in the betting offer are considered as follows: minutes 1-10 are considered the interval 0:00-9:59, minutes 11-20 are considered the interval 10:00-19:59, etc. minutes 1-15 are considered the interval 00:00-14:59, minutes 16-30 are considered the interval 15:00-29:59, etc.

The time intervals 31-45 and 76-90 include the extra minutes indicated by the referee.

Half-time bets include the 45 minutes plus any extra minutes indicated by the referee.

In the case of special match formats (e.g. 3 halves of 30 minutes), the first half will be considered the interval from the start of the match to minute 44:59 and the second half the interval 45:00 and the end of the match (plus the extra minutes indicated by the referee). We also reserve the right to validate matches that are played outside the normal formats (2x40, 2X45) with odds of 1.00.

Bets on goal intervals are settled based on the time announced on TV. If this is not available, then the minute according to the official game time (clock) is taken into account.

Goals are validated according to the time the ball enters the goal and not when the shot is taken.

For the "corner interval" bet type, the moment when the corner is taken is taken, not the moment when it is awarded.

For the card type of bet, the moment when the card is shown is taken into account, not the moment when the offense is committed.

For the offsides bet type, the moment when the referee makes the decision is taken into account (here we also include possible validations after consulting VAR).

For the penalty bet type, the moment when the referee makes the decision is taken into account (here we also include possible validations after consulting the VAR).

Penalties awarded but not taken are not taken into account.

In case of betting on cards without specifying the card colour, a yellow card counts as 1 card and a red or yellow-red card counts as 2. A second yellow card for a player leading to a yellow-red card does not count. Consequently, a player cannot have more than 3 cards.

Any card awarded after the final whistle will not be taken into account.

Cards received by other team members (for example: managers, coaches, substitutes or substituted players who no longer enter the field) are not taken into account when calculating the total number of cards.

In the case of betting on points cards, a yellow card counts as 10 points and red or yellow-red cards count as 25 points. A second yellow for a player that results in a yellow-red card does not count. Consequently, a player cannot accumulate more than 35 penalty points.

In the case of the scorer bet type, the own goal is not taken into account.

If a goalscorer is not in the offer and scores all bets on goalscorers remain valid.

For players who enter during the match (even if they enter after the goal has been scored) bets on scorers remain valid (they are considered to have participated in the match).

Corner kicks awarded but not taken are not taken into account.

Any clear attempt by a player to score is considered a shot: a shot on goal, a shot at goal or a shot blocked by the opponent.

A shot on goal is considered any clear attempt by a player to score that results in a goal or would result in a goal if it were not for the intervention of the goalkeeper or a player within the goal in the direction of that shot.

A pass is considered a player's successful/unsuccessful attempt to pass the ball to a teammate.

A "tackle" is considered a player's success in recovering the ball by sliding.

Cards Yes/No refers to the bet on whether or not players are booked (does not refer to the total cards bet).

14.1In Play

All bets (except half-time, first half, overtime, penalties) are considered for regular time only unless otherwise specified in the betting offer.

If a match is interrupted and is resumed within 48 hours of the original match start time, all open bets will stand. Otherwise, all bets will be void, except for bets that have already been completed.

If an incorrect score is entered, all bets will be void for the time period in which the score was incorrect.

If a goalscorer is not in the offer and scores, all bets on goalscorers remain valid.

Bets on players who start the match but are injured or eliminated before the end of the match are considered as participation in the game and are validated as losers/winners (they are not canceled).

Bets will be settled based on the statistics and information displayed on TV by the Official Associations, except in cases where there is clear evidence that these statistics are incorrect.

Only goals and assists in regular time will count for settlement. If the score is 0-0 after regular time, all bets will be settled as losers.

For the method of scoring the next goal:

  • Even strength: Goals are considered "even strength" when teams have the same number of players on the field.

  • Power-play: A goal is considered a "power-play" goal when the team with the most players on the field scores.

  • Short-handed: A goal is considered to be "short-handed" when the team with fewer players on the field scores.

  • Penalty: A penalty is considered a goal if it is scored.

  • Empty net: A goal is considered an “empty-net” goal if the team being led takes out the goalkeeper to bring in a field player and the leading team scores. In “power-play”/“short-handed” and “empty-net” situations, any goal will always be considered an “empty-net” goal for settlement purposes.

  • Not a single goal.

54.5The Boys' Ticket

It is a selection of events chosen by MAXBET.ro through which two or more sporting events are grouped under one odds from the offer. For this selection to be a winner, all chosen sporting events must be winners and completed according to the rules of the respective sport. If a match in this selection is interrupted, abandoned or postponed and is not continued or not played within 48 hours from the moment the match was scheduled, the selection is validated with odds 1.

54.6Max Booster

Represents a MaxBet.ro.ro promotion through which two or more sporting events are grouped under a single odds to which a bonus odds (established by MaxBet.ro.ro) is added.

The betting events eligible for Maxbooster are selected by MaxBet.ro and the bonus in the form of odds is awarded if all betting events are winning.

1X2

Example Maxbooster – FCSB – Rapid: 1.5 – 3.75 – 7

CFR Cluj – U.Cluj: 1.6 – 3.5 – 6.5

Lighthouse – Mioveni: 1.75 –3.25 – 5

To calculate the Maxbooster odds – multiply the odds of the teams/selections mentioned in MaxBooster from the chosen matches (1.50 x 1.60 x 1.75 = 4.20), to which is added the odds offered by MaxBet.ro (ex: 0.80) so the odds at MaxBooster will be 5.00 (4.20 + 0.80 = 5.00).

The bonus odds offered at Maxbooster will be determined by MaxBet.ro and may differ.

In the case of MaxBooster on scorers, if at least one player is not introduced onto the field, the bet is considered void and will receive odds of 1.00. If a player is introduced onto the field during the match (he is not a starter, but takes part in the game after the start of the match as a substitute), the bet will be validated accordingly.

The Maxbooster bonus cannot be combined with other bonuses from the MaxBet.ro offer.

If one or more matches within Maxbooster are postponed (more than 48 hours) or cancelled, MaxBooster will receive odds of 1.00.

Betting on non-sporting events - refers to any type of general interest bet that is not of a sporting nature (political, cultural, social, economic event, etc.).

If a tie occurs in an event (e.g. two winners) the bet will be split accordingly.
